is a graduate of Chapman University, where he obtained his BFA in Dance Performance and a minor in Film Production. In his time at Chapman, he was awarded second place at the IAF Choreographers Exhibit and third place at New Century Dance Project in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has shown work at the Palm Desert Choreography Festival and the Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Company Choreography Lab, and most recently, at the 92Y Harkness Dance Center’s inaugural Future Dance Festival; where his submission, “This is 22!”, was selected by Victor Quijada, artistic director of RUBBERBAND. Brian has collaborated on many films, including short film, “Alive” which has won over 10 awards at numerous film festivals nationally and internationally. He was awarded the Grand Prize for a collaborative video experiment competition, “CO:VID”, produced by Mike Esperanza. Brian has studied in Israel, where he completed residencies with Batsheva Dance Company and Vertigo Dance Company. He also trained locally in many LA-based intensives such as The TL Collective, Ate9, & Jacob Jonas The Company, and Gaga training under the mentorship of Genna Moroni. Brian is currently a choreographer and movement director in Los Angeles where he creates work for the stage and film.
